Abass Akande Obesere, is in the news again. This time the Fuji musician is in a battle with his promoter, Alhaji Taofeek Bello Abefe, the CEO of Solid Worth Entertainment.
According to reports, Taofeek feels betrayed by Obesere whom he accused of allegedly leaking the video of his new song, Ebelesua, on YouTube, contrary to their agreement. According to sources, it was alleged that there was an agreement between the duo for the promoter to release Ebelesua musical video along with other videos in a video album.
It’s on this alleged breach of agreement, reports gathered, that promoter is allegedly threatening to sue Obesere.
However, when contacted, Obesere who said that he’s busy working on his forthcoming hip hop album, said he knew nothing about the leakage.
Asked whom he thinks may be responsible for the leak; Obesere insisted he knew nothing about it and wouldn’t be able to explain how it happened.
“I know nothing about the video leakage. I was even astonished when Solid Worth called and accused me of being responsible for the leakage. When the video was leaked, the copy of the video was still with the director. So I know nothing about it leak and I’m sure that the director cannot do such a thing because he’s honest having worked with me and the promoter for over five years now.”
Meanwhile, effort to reach the promoter proved abortive as he was said to be outside the country as of the time of filing this report.
